Sleep

Teens’ sleep patterns are often different from their childhood.  Teens are more active in the evening and go to sleep later than they did as children.  But teens still need enough sleep.

Many teens in the Over 2 U study didn’t feel they’d be hurt by choosing not to go to bed on time.  But they still have to get up!  Many teens suffer from sleep “debt” which is not getting enough sleep.

Not getting enough sleep can increase anxiety and difficulties in school and hurt sporting performance.
